White Lion-The Best Of White Lion 下载, White Lion-The Best Of White Lion 在美国80年代中后期涌现出的众多流行金属乐队中，White Lion无疑是最有天分的一只。依靠录影带《Wait》之电视台的热播，使专辑《Pride》大火，并冲上了排行榜顶端。后来木吉他歌谣《When the Children Cry》则是他们获得了更大的成功。 专辑名称： The Best of White Lion 专辑歌手： White Lion 发行日期： 1992-9-15 专辑语种： 英语 专辑类型： Pop Rock 唱片厂牌： Atlantic / Wea 压缩比率： 192k 乐队介绍： 在80年代的流行金属大潮中，给乐队起上一个能要歌迷们轻松记住的名字也是这个乐队成功的一部分，在这里有很多乐队将主唱的个人名字或艺名的一部分作为自己乐队的名字，像我们已经说过的DOKKEN，BON JOVI，还有一部分则是选择了一些凶猛但外表却十分漂亮的动物名字，这些乐队中以WHITE（白）作为合成词的最多，像WHITE SNAKE，GREAT WHITE ，WHITE TIGER，WHITE WOLF，WHITE LION等等，曾有一段时间我被这诸多的白字辈流行金属乐队深深的吸引，发誓要收集其他们的所有唱片，可到现在还是没有找到几张，好了，说过题外话之后转入正题，我们来说说这支在POP METAL中能算上特别乐队的WHITE LION（白狮）。 乐队最早要追诉到1982年（哈哈，这一年我正好出生），一位名为Mike Tramp 的小伙子怀着对金属音乐的热爱和对基督教的崇敬打算组建一支以歌颂基督教福声的POP METAL乐队，他早年居住在丹麦，基于那里特殊的历史文化和音乐环境使得在他脑海中的POP METAL形式完全不同于美式流行金属，所以在他们的音乐中很少能听到BLUES的音乐成份，更多的是有点半新古典溶合了欧式金属的金属乐，这在他们的编曲和SOLO中能够完全的体现出来，所以WHITE LION也是一支技术上十分过硬的一支，如果你是一个金属乐的吉他SOLO狂热者，那听上一张他们的专辑绝对不会要你失望的。 当时的 Mike Tramp 刚刚从西班牙移居到了 Santa Monica，很快他就认识了吉他手 Vito Bratta，两个人在音乐上的共鸣使得他们最终走到了一起，随着贝斯手 Felix Robinson 和鼓手 Nicky Capozzi 的加入，WHITE LION的传说就这样的开始了。 虽然和一些老牌的POP METAL乐队的音乐理念是不同的，但乐队要走的道路却都是一样的，他们在参加一些小型的地下金属演出的同时也以极高的热情投入到自己作品的创作中，乐队的风格虽然是POP METAL但与很多同时期的金属乐队的思想是不同的，他们四个人都是忠实的基督教徒，所以歌词中唱到的自然也与基督教的福因有关，在后来人们也为这种专门传唱教义的金属乐队起了一个和挪威凶神恶煞般的黑金属们恰恰相反的名字---白金属，同类的POP METAL乐队还有STRYPER（银河）。 为了尽快解决生记的问题，他们找到了和 Elektra 公司，公司也表示对他们的音乐感兴趣，于是他们便签下了一纸合约，几个年轻的小伙子兴奋了，因为这样的一步代表着他们的音乐道路又踏上了一个新的旅程，不再作为一支地下乐队，但后边要发生的事情却是没人希望看到的。在签约之后，他们开始着手准备录制首张专辑《Fight To Survive》，但公司对新乐队是十分苛刻的，紧紧给了他们很短是的进棚时间，但乐队又想把他们的首张作得更精制一些，最后他们所用的棚时大大的超过了公司的规定，Elektra对他们这样的举动十分的不满，曾一度想解除他们的合约，但顾于他们音乐的可听性，只是冷落了他们。最终《Fight To Survive》选在日本作为第一发行地，好东西自然会有人认可的，这张唱片一经发出，在很短的时间之内就卖出了白金的好成绩，但乐队和公司的僵局还是无法缓解，很多唱片公司都以为他们已经解除了约定，于是签约合同如雪片般向他们飞来，乐队最终选择了著名的Atlantic 公司，但他们和Elektra的约定还属有效期，乐队成了加在中间的出气筒，在这时乐队的鼓手和BASS手也离开了乐队，最后ANTHRAX的鼓手Greg D Angelo和BASS手James Lomenzo加入乐队，新人的加入给乐队增加了新鲜的血液，他们在合同纠分中刚刚走出来就投入到第2张专辑的制作中，这就是流金史上永恒的名作《PRIDE》（我是听着这张唱片写完的这篇文字）。 1987年，《PRIDE》和乐迷们见面了，这的确是一张到处都充满了金属活力的唱片，完美的RIFF中穿插着流畅好听的SOLO这也成为了他们的特点之一，整张专辑属于阴柔一派的POP METAL。即使像BON JOVI这样十分善于金属柔情的乐队，也不得不在采访中说出对WHITE LION的尊敬，这张专辑的最后一首歌When The Children Cry取自反战的题材，整首歌曲都是以原声吉他伴奏仅仅在SOLO处加了一点失真，真是柔情中的柔情，这首歌也成为了WHITE LION最最畅销了一首单曲。之后的巡演使得乐队的知名度进一步的攀升，他们走到哪里，就会在那里的杂志或报纸上看到他们的消息。 漫长的巡演过后他们投入到全新专辑的制作之中，1989年乐队的第三张《Big Game》在期盼之中诞生，一经发出就在各大排行榜上抢尽了风头，like Living On The Edge , Goin Home Tonight，Radar Love等都成为了排行榜上有名的歌曲，史上很少有乐队的一张专辑的歌曲能够同时爬上排行榜，这时的他们已经成了无愧的国际大牌乐队，但这条道路上的坚辛也只有他们四个知道。 不久乐队又踏上了巡演的旅程，每到一处受到的掌声欢呼声都几乎盖过了他们的音乐声。巡演结束后，他们又在不常的时间内炮制出又一张经典的专辑《Mane Attraction》，特别值得一提的是，这张唱片的制作人是大名鼎鼎的Richie Zito，专辑的质量又上升了一个新的层次，8分多钟的开头曲Lights And Thunder又一次榜上有名，而且在这张专辑中吉他手 Vito Bratta 似乎找到了从未有过的超好状态，淋漓尽至的吉他SOLO也成为了这张专辑的亮点。 世上的一切事情都是无法预知的，就在WHITE LION刚刚结速新一轮的巡演之中， 贝斯手James Lomenzo 和鼓手 Greg D Angelo 突然喧布离队，这真的好像一场恶梦惊醒了镁梦中的WHITE LION，但演出还得进行，乐队只好找来了Tommy T-Bone Caradonna和 Jimmy De Grasso来临时顶替一下他俩的空缺，但这事使得WHITE LION一撅不振，新的乐手又不能完全的胜任，不久这支有着10年辉惶传说的乐队就消声匿迹了。 在乐队解散之后，主唱Mike Tramp开始了个人演唱生涯，但反响却再也不能与当时的白狮圣世相提并论，仅仅在98年发行了一张专辑就也消失在乐迷的视线之中，直到今天，还有不少POP METAL合辑中收录WHITE LION的精典歌曲，但他们的声音却像乐队名字一样成了金属史上的一段神画。 (以上转自摇滚帝国) Editorial Reviews From School Library Journal Grade 3-6-This classic tale celebrates its 50th anniversary with a delightful audio rendition.
